StrideDeck for Gyms, Recreation Facilities, and Clubs

One of the main elements of motivating the general populace to use a gym or recreation facility, is having a
wide spectrum of exercises which compliments the body’s full range of motion.  Motivating a person to continue
to use a gym is a mixture of personal success with a social net of support and prompting.  The StrideDeck
platform allows for many social interactions and personal bests that will keep the person motivated at the gym.
For these reasons the StrideDeck platform is an ideal tool for any gym to maintain this loyalty:
  • Offers a large number of gym programs
  • Full spectrum of abilities
  • New market groups
  • Versatile

Gym Programs
Many exercise equipment is one dimensional limited to a very small number of applications.  Here, the exerciser
controls the StrideDeck. The range and length of motion is not controlled by the machine but by the exerciser.
For this reason, the StrideDeck offers these gym classes:

Yoga classes:  There are numerous yoga poses that are ideal for the StrideDeck.  The more pertinent positions
are the ones requiring standing balance.  The StrideDeck platform forces the exerciser to become more aware
of the balancing demands and to be “grounded”.  The StrideDeck platform allows for a wide range of skill levels
and abilities to meet any yoga demands.

Stretching classes:  The openness of the StrideDeck platform allows for numerous stretching exercises
especially with the legs.  The StrideDeck platform is ideal for gentle and long, flexible stretches and towards the
more dynamic and partnered stretches.

Exercise classes:  The rolling design  of the StrideDeck platform allows for many types of aerobic exercises,
dynamic core training, and anaerobic  programs.  Another addition is the use of resistance tubing with three
levels of resistance for the exercises.

StrideFit classes for the Gym: The stop and go motion from striding on the StrideDeck platform is a high calorie
burn and is quite exhausting.  Under a circuit program, such as a spinning, stepping, or toning class, the
exerciser can exercise at one’s own pace and conditioning and still receive a full workout!

Abilities
Exercising on the StrideDeck platform is a low-impact movement without any restrictions or limits imposed on the
exerciser.  From the senior citizens who demands a light yet effect workout to an athlete who competes
seriously, the StrideDeck fulfills all their exercising demands.  The StrideDeck training platform allows for
success for all range of abilities and conditioning.  One can train at one’s own pace and strength.

New Markets
The exerciser can wear running shoes to get a full workout on the StrideDeck.  However, by allowing hockey
skates with specially designed rubber skateguards, or better still, just hockey skates, a new markets and clients
will be opened to the gym.  Exercisers who wish to improve one’s skating abilities while exercising will be enticed
to use your facility.

Another new group will be parents who would use the gym for training while their children are learning to skate
on the gym’s StrideDeck platform.  Teaching children to skate has become a growing revenue stream at many
arenas and hockey schools.

Athletes who are recovering from injuries or trying to prevent injuries will be enticed by the challenges and the
full range of skating motion on the StrideDeck platform.  The low impact training on the platform is suitable for
any rehabilitation program.

Versatile
The StrideDeck’s two platforms are light in weight and are easily set up and dismantled.  The dimensions of the
two platforms allow for small storage space and when not in use can easily be stored freeing up the gym’s floor
space for other fitness activities.

Due to the nature of the exercises on the StrideDeck platform and the wide range of  needs that are met, the
StrideDeck can be incorporated into existing gym programs, such as a spinning and aerobic classes.
